Student Computer Purchasing

As a WCU student you are required to have a laptop when you come to campus. Below you will find information about our minimum and recommended computer specifications, including some majors that have special requirements. Other Recommendations: Students must provide their own laptop and their own Adobe Creative Suite licenses. Laptops for ART 270 + 271 must meet the system requirements for ADOBE software: Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, InDesign. Students hoping to pursue the BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design will need a computer that meets the system requirements for ADOBE After Effects and Premiere Pro, as well as the system requirements for the software listed above.
