Students, Faculty and Staff can receive the COVID-19 vaccine at WCU's Health Services
located at Madison Hall.
Beginning April 5, 2022 COVID-19 vaccines will be given at Health Services, Bird Building.
WCU's Health Services will offer the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson and Johnson vaccines. Students, faculty, and staff will be able to choose the vaccine they would like to recieve when they make their appointment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE MODERNA VACCINE
The CDC has approved boosters for all individuals who have received an initial dose of Johnson & Johnson at least 2 months prior, or completed the two shot series with Pfizer or Moderna at least 5 months prior. The FDA and CDC have now issued a statement recommending a 2nd booster for anyone over the age of 50 or individuals that are immunocompromised.
Additional Booster Criteria for the 2nd booster:
Booster doses can now be administered with any available or patient preferred covid vaccine of either Moderna or Pfizer within the above requirements.
Both Pfizer and Moderna are now FDA approved for the primary series, these are preferred for vaccination over J&J
