Senior Celebration is a day set aside to honor older adults ages 60 and up in the
seven westernmost counties of North Carolina for the past 25 years through the efforts
of staff at Tsali Manor of the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. In continuing this
tradition, agencies that support older adults across the region have joined together
to revive this wonderful event.
This is our chance, your chance, to make a contribution to help celebrate our seniors. A chance to give back to the seniors who have given so much. To show them that they are appreciated, respected, and load for the contributions they have made and continue to make in our communities. Help us make this day one to remember.
You must be a participant of a senior center to attend. Please sign up at your center. Contact the Southwestern Commission Area Agency on Aging at 828-586-1962 with any questions.
